In Toggenburg, a valley steeped in legend in the heart of eastern Switzerland, over 20 unique cheese delicacies are created in our three cheese dairies. With a great deal of tradition, craftsmanship and passion, our 45 employees ensure fabulous enjoyment of cheese – from cream cheese to excellent semi-hard and hard cheese specialities to mildly spicy goat's cheese. This is what we stand for as a family business with our name "Güntensperger – since 1868". name of the cheese: Falt Mansh extra The craft, which began over 150 years ago in the dairy in Mettlen, now lives on in our Güntensperger cheese dairy in Bütschwil. The powerfull spicy Flat Mansh extra cheese, Made from fresh Toggenburg mounain milk, enriched with selfgrown lactic and acid cultures, unites our family history, tradition and handicraft in a unique way. For its degree of maturity, Flat Mansh extra is an exceptionally pure hard cheese. The distinctive salt crystals harmonise wonderfully with its nutty note. The balanced, powerfully spicy aroma ignites a fabulous taste experience on the palate.
