Hatch Chili Daisy Cheddar
Hatch Pepper Cheddar is a specialty crafted seasonal cheddar made by Henning's Cheese in rural Kiel, Wisconsin. For 4 generations our family has been making award winning artisan cheese since 1914. We handcraft small batches of cheese using fresh milk from our small local family dairy farmers. Their cows pasture graze when weather permits and are otherwise fed natural grains. Our cheese is always gluten & rBST free. Hatch Pepper Cheddar was created specifically for Hatch Chile season in the southwest and has now grown to be our most popular flavor. This festival is typically celebrated in August & September and has grown in popularity across the United States. Because of how we uniquely craft this cheese, we only make it from February to May. This delicious creamy cheddar is infused with sweet, mild pepper flavor with no heat. It’s wonderful in risotto, quesadillas, stuffed peppers, burgers, sandwiches, tacos, mac & cheese, paninis and so much more. Our Hatch Pepper Cheddar won 1st place at the 2018 World Cheese Championship.
