Henning’s Cheese in rural Kiel, Wisconsin is a four-generation cheese making family that prides themselves in crafting some of the best traditional artisan cheddar. We start by buying fresh milk from small local family farmers who pasture graze their cows when weather permits and are otherwise fed a balanced diet of natural grains. Their milk is always rBST & gluten free. We then handcraft each batch. Our Cheddar Daisy is a 22 lb. wheel known for winning numerous awards across the United States and the world. The longer it cures, the better the flavor. Pair with apples, grapes, pears, nuts, honey, dates, French bread, artisan sausage, most wines, beers or ciders! Use this delicious cheddar on bacon grilled cheese, shredded in mac & cheese, soups, hash browns, veggie dishes, biscuits, potatoes, dips and more.
