Onion & Chive Cheddar is specialty crafted by Henning Cheese in rural Kiel, Wisconsin. For four generations our family has been making award winning artisan cheese since 1914. Our high quality starts with fresh cows’ milk from small, local, family farmers that pasture graze when weather permits and are otherwise fed a balanced diet of natural grains. Their milk is always rBST & gluten free. We then handcraft each batch and infuse it with savory onions & mild chives. This cheese is delicious in any egg dish, veggie salad, mashed or twice baked potato, summer pasta salad, sandwich – warm or cold.
