The Van Den Wijngaard family still matures its cheeses today with the knowledge, experience and love for the craft of four family generations. The cheeses are traditionally matured, influenced by their cheese warehouse from 1906 in Woerden, The Netherlands. The Reypenaer & VSOP Duo Gift contains the following cheeses: Reypenaer - 1 year matured gouda cheese. Reypenaer V.S.O.P. - 2 years matured gouda cheese. Reypenaer cheese won 3 times the Supreme Champion medal at the International Cheese Show in Nantwich, England. Perfect to with fruity white wines or spirits as Vodka. Because of the sweet and full flavor, this cheese can be combined with a beer or white wine. Reypenaer V.S.O.P. has a powerful taste and smell. This cheese is used in the best restaurants in Europe. Perfect to share with friends and family, in combination of a strong red wine, port wine or spirits as bourbon.
