The family of dairy farmers soon established a butter business in their new home, sourcing cream from the many local farms. The business grew through the leadership of John S. Wuethrich and in 1911, John purchased what is today known as Grassland Dairy.Over the next 5 generations, Grassland has prided itself on remaining a family-owned company.
