Gourmet Foods International Expands Foodservice Distribution in Arizona

Phoenix, AZ – Gourmet Foods International (GFI), a national distributor of specialty food, has expanded its foodservice distribution network with the opening of its Phoenix-area warehouse in Tolleson, Arizona. The facility opened in June 2026 and began serving foodservice customers in September.

The new location brings GFI’s specialty food assortment and service capabilities closer to customers throughout the Arizona market. Two in-market representatives support customers locally, with a minimum of two deliveries per week. The facility currently stocks more than 1,000 items, while customers can also order from GFI’s broader catalog and have products delivered within a week. Representatives can work with customers to stock additional products locally when shorter lead times are needed.

The new Phoenix-area distribution center serves resorts, golf clubs, premium hotels and fine dining properties, with an assortment tailored to the needs of Arizona’s hospitality and foodservice market. Along with GFI’s extensive selection of specialty cheese, the facility offers the market’s largest inventory of Kabobs appetizers, desserts and meals to support banquet programs throughout the day, as well as the market’s largest selection of Bridor pastry. The Arizona assortment also features regional exclusives, including cured meats from The Spotted Trotter and Salumi Italiani, cold-pressed California Juice, RAIN water and TCHO chocolate.

GFI’s longstanding vendor relationships enable the company to offer exclusive recipes, private-label products and other customized solutions for customers.

With the new Phoenix-area location, GFI is excited to expand its presence in Arizona and bring its specialty food assortment, service and expertise closer to foodservice customers throughout the region.
