Louisiana Lagniappe Cheddar is a specialty crafted cheddar made by Henning’s Cheese in rural Kiel, Wisconsin. For 4 generations our family has been crafting award winning artisan & specialty cheese since 1914. We handcraft small batches of cheese using fresh milk from small local family dairy farmers. Their cows pasture graze when weather permits and are otherwise fed natural grains. Our cheese is always gluten & rBST free. Louisiana Lagniappe Cheddar was created with deep south roots and is full of New Orleans vibes. When you bite into this creamy cheddar, you will experience a robust flavor that’s accented with cayenne pepper and lemon zest. Try in grits, potatoes, burgers, pasta or pizza with olive oil or alfredo sauce, chicken or shrimp and veggies.
